Job Summary
The Support Advisor role is critical to the success of the company. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the managing advisor and lead advisors within your office location. You will be responsible for coordinating the client needs and requests with the firm’s operations team. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and enjoy working within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
Job Functions
- Provide positive and professional service to the client base assigned
- Communicate with Lead Advisor & Managing Advisor as a vital team member
- Record client meeting notes and assign tasks to other team members
- Service existing clients within an advisory team
- Assist in developing annual client review materials
- Assist other advisors as requested
- Interact with the firm’s operations team on all planning and follow up
- Develop and maintain plans and notes within CRM and financial planning systems
- Attend all training and information sharing meetings scheduled for the advisor team
- Maintain all continuing education requirements of an advisor plus required training elements
Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Genuine interest in serving and caring for other people
- Team player
- Series 65 License preferred but can work towards
- Ability to stay organized and above average time-management skills
- Experience in an office environment is desired; Experience in a financial-services environment is preferred.
